Gary, a former New Zealand Police Detective, is the Founder and Managing Director of the Barantas Group.  In 1999, after serving in the New Zealand Police for ten years, Gary began consulting in the Security Industry as a Private Investigator and Security Consultant and then later became involved in the Maritime Industry globally, undertaking roles in ISPS Code compliance and auditing, Piracy Suppression, and training of Ships Crew and Security Operators.
 

Peter Nikolov
Sales & Marketing Manager

Peter graduated from the Naval Academy in Varna, Bulgaria, attaining the rank of Lieutenant and a Diploma in Marine Engeineering. During his involvement in the Shipping Industry Peter travelled extensively and is familiar with most Ports and Shipping Operations around the world.  After making New Zealand his home Peter has been involved in sales, management, and business development, and over the past decade has gained experience in negotiating direct with Clients from medium size businesses to large corporates dealing with complex contractual arrangements.
 

Stuart Brennan
Operations Manager

Stuart has been involved in Security Management for many years.  His Operational experience stems from service in the British Navy, UK and NZ Police Services, and both Government Agency and Private Security Industry sectors.  During his Police service he was involved in the protection of Diplomatic and Political figures, and as a member of a Counter Terrorisim Tactical Squad.  Stuart oversees all Operational matters ensuring the high standards required of Barantas Teams and as demanded by Clients are delivered.
 

Ida Meng
Office Administrator

Ida, with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting from Waikato Institute of Technology, Waikato, New Zealand, Ida manages all aspects of the Barantas Group financial processes and liaises closely with the Company Accountants and Financial Services Providers.  Ida also writes and reviews Company Policy and Procedures and manages the Project and Team Files in support of the Operations Team.
 

Lisa Crook
Director

As a Co-Founder of Barantas Security Group Lisa put the business structures in place from which the Company has grown.  Lisa has come from an Administration and Office Mangement background in the Insurance Industry and is meticulous in ensuring processes are followed.  Lisa continues to advise the Company on matters involving HR and Administration.
